And there's nothing quite like having mom on the other end of your phone conversation...oh yeah.Lori Holliday Culverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00435503478950909063noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26063443.post-79005923750246084542007-02-05T07:41:00.000-06:002007-02-05T07:41:00.000-06:00Umm... Which would explain more why I was so much younger then. Still a cool story for ME, but it had nothing to do with THIS story. *sigh* I need more sleep.Annahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11233040722492392755noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26063443.post-84493759476218708862007-02-04T21:30:00.000-06:002007-02-04T21:30:00.000-06:00I used to love Dave Barry too. And one day, when I...I used to love Dave Barry too. And one day, when I was in middle school I think... I wrote him a letter. And he called me on the phone. Dave. Barry. called. ME. MEEEEEE!!!! He encouraged me to write more and said he appreciated my letter. I'm not sure I said anything very coherent and was mortified when my mother would not hang up the other line and kept saying things like "you should write about her" and "she's a great writer" and "you should publish what she writes." Never heard from him again. But he did call me.Annahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11233040722492392755noreply@blogger.com
